Taoists practice Chi with T'ai Chi. This is a popular Taoist martial art that combines the principles of Yin and Yang into a sequence of slow, flowing movements designed to stimulate and harmonize Chi for health, vitality and self defense. T'ai Chi practitioners use elements like air, awareness, balance, and concentration to express the inner spirit. One of the popular breathing exercises called Qigong, or also called Chi Kung, uses body posture and visualizations to make life energy and spread it though out the entire body. The main goal of this exercise is to improve your health or maintain the good health they have or might want. Also it can benefit in other things like helping you in martial arts which is very well known in China.. The simplest of practicing the religion is an inner alchemical meditation meaning to make a small value into a bigger value. The goal of this meditation is to calm and empty the mind and body. One of the celebrations they do annually is called the lantern festival and is when all of China lights lanterns into the sky to celebrate the 15th day of the first lunar month and honor the birthday of the Taoist God. They diet is mainly based on whole grain food so they are not allowed to eat tropical fruits, red meats, and dairy products.
